Criticism- Constructive or Damaging

via Daily Prompt: Criticize

criticise2

How easy it is to CRITICIZE,

And just NOT realize…

The enormity of the damage done.

How difficult to just correct and NOT criticize…

We’d understand, IF only we were just a little wise,

No bridges burnt and the battle’s won!

So next time, Before you  criticize,

Why not Try and EMPATHIZE?

Achieve the goal with losses none.

Train, Empower, DON’T CRITICIZE!

Support, FIX, a true Leader’s guise,

Build a STRONG foundation, a win-win for everyone!

You are the Superior, it’s easy to criticize,

To command with Respect, NOT Fear, a difficult choice,

Is it that tough to the occasion rise ?

    Hey
This was a good eye opening post, I think anymore either it be people are too sensitive, people think they are better than others, people want to help but don’t know how to deliver the message, etc, is why many times criticizing goes wrong — many times it is all in the delivering the words you use that can determine the meaning behind it in my opinion.

I agree Shay-lon. It also depends upon your past experience with the person and how you perceive everything they say. Am glad you liked it😊
