Carpe-Diem #1317- Wherever your heart is…

Hi All,

There’s no way I’m going to miss taking part in this month’s Carpe-Diem Haiku Kai because Chèvrefeuille is basing it on quotes from Paulo Coelho’s novels. Sounds interesting?

Well, today’s quote is :

“Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.” […] (Paulo Coelho: The Alchemist)

My Haiku based on the above quote is …

heart

“Home” is where You are,
“Homesick” is how I feel now,
Away – from You, Here…

My soul’s gone with you,
My heart’s there too, out of me,
When will I be whole?

🙂 then it came out just right. It’s a desperate sense of longing and missing. Thank you Andrea for feeling the words.
