It’s the time of the year again when you wish the days were longer and you did not have to be at work, the time of the year when the birds that went away for the summers have returned, when the flowers are in full bloom, when the warm sunshine is welcome for it gently warms and does not threaten to scorch, when a hot mug of coffee in the outdoors as a cool wind blows makes you thank God for the little things in life that are priceless. Am re-blogging a poem I had written last year, same time. Thankfully, some things have not changed over the last 1 year and hopefully do not change over time to come…the beauty of nature.
A walk at dawn…

Your poem is exactly what we need this winter, Smitha. Makes me smile. I had been out in the sun for the better part of today and was amazed that even afternoons can be this beautiful in a desert.

Yes😊…it’s beautiful isn’t it. Hate that I have to be stuck in office when it’s so amazing outside. Being in the same desert, your appreciation is a delight. It means the poem came out just right. Thank you so much Pranitha.

I share your thoughts too! And today with the rains, I dunno what to say… I know the roads are a rage with slow- moving traffic but I simply cannot dent that this desert is simply awesome at the moment😃
