NaPoWriMO 2018: Day 3 – Romantic Novels…You Never Heard Of Before

Today’s NaPoWriMo prompt (optional as always), is inspired by our interview with Peter Davis. As he indicates there, his latest book is rooted in endlessly writing ideas for band names. Today, we challenge you to try this out yourself by writing a list poem in which all the items are made-up names. If band names don’t inspire, how about a list of titles for romantic novels? Or new television cop dramas? They can be as over-the-top as you like, because that’s (at least) half the fun. Happy writing!

Well, here’s my list of names for Romantic Novels. Any takers, let me know;). Some may sound cheesy but as they said, “Have Fun” 🙂

Call My Parents

Again, Who Are You?

The Unlikely Candidate

What the Heck? Let’s Do It

Over a Cup of Coffee,

Under the Oak Tree

As Different as ‘Different’ Can Be,

Oui!

Butterflies and Bees

Knocked Out

College Fees (Lucky Ones Get Spouse Free;))

Yikes! It’s Happening.

You think so Pranitha 🙂 Thank you so much. Starting was difficult but once I did I couldn’t stop. LOL. Enjoyed writing it once I crossed the bridge.

Oh yes, I meant it and truly! Starting is tough for me too but I rarely string poems, frankly because I prefer humor and prose. I personally think it takes a lot of creativity to string a poem which is much more than just rhyming words. Poems coming from the heart are the most beautiful.

It means so much seriously because I absolutely love the way you write. Thanks Pranitha. And with all these poems, I seem to be rhyming words even when I speak to the kids and they’re totally frustrated😀

Haha! That is a nice one. Surely you are singing poetry while instructing them and may be giving them a piece of your mind. It sure must be fun for them and you 🙂
