The second poem in this series is titled, ‘To You I want to say

To you I want to say

Pray each time you feel-

You’re losing hope

Pray each time you feel-

You cannot cope

Tell yourself you can

Each time it feels you cannot

Tell yourself you can

Each time it feels you dare not

To you I want to say

Close your eyes and breathe

It’s gonna be fine

Close your eyes and breathe

Things will fall in line

Don’t waste your precious life

For, you have so much to give

Don’t worry about this internal strife

For now, Live!

And after despair comes hope. The previous poem explored that feeling of being trapped in despair, but this one shines a light of hope.

Thank you Pragalbha. I wish more people who are going through depression get to hear this. Its’ sad the number of school children going through it.
