Its cold outside
But its colder inside
My bones creak
I feel weak
The cold’s in my head
I can’t get out of bed
My nose is stuffed
My eyes are puffed
My throat is dry
I’m so tired, I think I’ll cry.
I blow my nose
It flows like a hose
It makes so much noise
I have lost my voice
My ribs hurt
Coughing in a spurt
I’m wading in tissues
holding back my issues
I wish I could pull the lever
And put an end to this cold, cough and fever!
I’m so sick
Of feeling sick!
