Over the last three weeks, I have been keeping myself occupied with art. I did a few using acrylic and moved on to water colors. While water colors as a medium is far more challenging, it’s quicker, cheaper and easier to maintain (in terms of the brushes and the paints not drying up) if you get the hang of it. It’s like a Math concept. Once you get it, its a piece of cake. Well, I haven’t reached there yet. I hope to reach there in a few years’ time which of-course depends on the effort I’ll be putting into it. As of now, with nothing else to do other than the housework and watching TV, I’m finding painting with its bright colors more relaxing than writing which is black and white. Thanks to the millions of resources available on the net, I am enjoying the learning process.
I did the below acrylic painting as a gift for my daughter on her 16th birthday on the 17th of May. With the lockdown, we had to make do with ‘DIY’ gifts and a lot of promissory notes redeemable in the future. 🙂
