Jargons

They said they’d let you go

‘Discharge,’ was the word they used

I thought it meant you were coming home

You did; just not how I thought you would

I’m looking for answers

Trying to fill the blank spaces

There are too many-

Unanswered questions, jargons

For ‘closure,’ I tell them

I need to understand

They say it’s your age

They say you were ‘feeble’

They say, the ‘intervention,’ you couldn’t take it

They say you refused to listen

They say you did not ‘respond’

I do not understand

How can ‘feeble’ have his way?

Did they mean them or you?
