This time I selected a picture using a limited color pallette. Since the color mix involved different shades of dull brown, the biggest challenge was ensuring the painting did not appear a muddy mess. The painting is of everyday objects- a kettle, a dish cover and a bowl. Getting the texture of the metal of the kettle, the glass of the cover and the bowl while ensuring each of the surfaces reflected light as per the texture was challenging and fun.

And finally, the entire painting. Its inspired by a painting by artist Nono Garcia. Its done using Camel beginners watercolors on Brustro A4 size paper.
