Friday Flowers

I’m taking part in Friday Flowers – Cee’s FOTD photo challenge. For this week, I’ve got pictures of flowers taken by my sister. She moved homes two months ago and sent me these delightful pictures of flowers growing in and around her house (planted by the previous owner).

Nerium Oleander

This plant is cultivated widely and from the picture below, you can see why it is grown as an ornamental and landscaping plant. The flowers are bitter which is a good thing because it contains toxic compounds that can be dangerous for both human beings and animals.

This is a picture of the plant in full bloom . Isn’t it gorgeous?

Here’s another one which I think is Mandevilla based on my search through Google. But I cannot be sure. So, if I’m wrong, please let me know the name of these flowers.

These pretty flowers have been planted at the entrance of the house.
