Selling all things religious- beads, prasad, holy thread, metal bracelet (Kada), blueberry beads or stone fruits (Rudraksh) used as prayer beads by Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists.
Chillies and gooseberries for sale in the market
Flowers used as an offering to God, sold on the ghats
Betel leaf (Paan) seller.

      I too was surprised when she smiled as I pointed the camera towards her and she didn’t even coax me into buying anything. Vineetha, the people in Benaras are pleasantly warm, friendly and simple.
