Wordless Wednesdays: Decked ahead of Christmas

I saw this cycle rickshaw driver as I was shopping for crockery and I just had to take a picture. He was definitely successful in making heads turn- talk about product differentiation. Only, I can’t imagine how it must have felt wearing that headgear and jacket in the sweltering afternoon sun. The seat may be cushy thanks to the artificial grass cushioning but I wouldn’t want to try.

Hi Smitha, he is certainly very creative. I’ve never gone anywhere where they have rickshaws.

Oh really… it means you’ve not visited S.E. Asia. All countries in the region have rickshaws; the one with an engine is called tuk-tuks.

Well, he’s certainly done his best to get noticed and it seems to be working! Maybe he should have stopped at decorating the rickshaw and not done so to himself, given the heat?
