Art: The Yellow Car

Having attended the art exhibition in Dhaka, I felt a desperate itch to do a piece of art myself. As I hadn’t done a watercolor since September 2022 and I wanted to get my hands moving , that’s what I decided to do.

Here’s my first painting of 2023- a watercolour painting on an A4 size watercolor paper. I call it, ‘The Yellow Car’. Painting the car was a challenge but I’m happy that at the end it turned out quite okay. What do you think?

And here’s a video of the painting

Hi Smitha, a lovely painting. The building is almost menacing rising above the cars. The yellow car is very striking.

Beautiful painting. The streets and the car are so perfect, it reminds me of Kolkata days.
