“Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a variation of an acrostic poem. But rather than spelling out a word with the first letters of each line, I’d like you to write a poem that reproduces a phrase with the first words of each line. Perhaps you could write a poem in which the first words of each line, read together, reproduce a treasured line of poetry? You could even try using a newspaper headline or something from a magazine article. Whatever you choose, I hope you enjoy this prompt.”
I enjoyed this and couldn’t stop at one, so, I did three phrases and strung them into three stanzas to make a poem
I Let the sunshine in, throw open the windows. If, One's soul needs to bloom, and one's Hair needs to grow, one needs to pull Down the curtains and everything that blocks the light II Go take a walk, feel the grass beneath your feet, The breeze on the nape of your neck and let gratitude wash over your Whole being- body, mind and soul; the Nine heavenly bodies* will align themselves for you, the whole nine Yards. III Rub your new found strength on everybody you pass The world needs it more now, than ever before. All the Wrong around you, cannot be made right, but on your Way, who knows how many you'll save. The circle of influence begins with you. *Nine heavenly bodies or the 'Navagraha' as it is called in Hinduism are the sun, moon, mars, mercury, jupiter, venus, saturn, the ascending and the descending node of the moon. It is believed that these planets influence human life on earth
